Cleaning Your Medals |
You may need to clean or even polish your medals before storing them, MMB does not recommend polishing medals unless absolutely necessary because it may damage the sharpness of the design or remove too much metal from the surface.
A safe way to clean your medals is to use a Goddard’s silver polishing cloth, if your medals still need cleaning then we recommend you consult the Australian War Memorial website located on the MMB links page or contact a Medal Court mounting Tailor recommended by your local RSL.
REMEMBER try to handle the medals as little as possible and clean any marks that may appear from handling.

Court Mounting Sizing

MMB recommends that your medals be court mounted in accordance with army dress regulations to ensure correct fitting in the box. To view the dress regulations for honours and awards please view this on the link below.
